Church Move - Tedford House Movers - Church on original foundation

Church Project

We were asked to move this Church to a new location.  It was a unique move in that we needed to remove the church steeple before moving in order to avoid the hydro lines.  As well, we removed the roof of the church because it’s peak was too high.  Once all of the pieces arrived at it’s new location, we pieced it all back together.  The Church was in rough shape when we arrived at the site, but it was fit enough to be moved, and the owner would fix it up once it got to the new site!

Here the Church is sitting on the original Lot.  We have begun cutting the steeple and roof.

The Steeple has been cut and is being removed away from the main structure.  It will be moved separately from the main structure.

Like the steeple, the roof also needed to be removed to allow the building to move down the road under hydro/telephone lines.

All three pieces have arrived at the new lot and have been pieced back together.

Almost done, it’s sitting on the new foundation all back together.  Now the owner can begin renovations.
